Faculties

At Tonypandy Community College we have 7 Faculties; a Additional Learning Needs Department; Personal Social Education (PSE) and Post 16 subjects such as Psychology.

Each Faculty is lead by a Director of Learning, supported by specialist Subjet Leaders. A Literacy and Numeacy Co-ordinator then has whole College reponsibility for the development of their area.

Within the Mathematics and English Faculty we have two Learning Coaches whose specific role is to support the learning and teaching of students in those areas through one-to-one and small group intervention strategies.

Working alongside the Faculties we have a Learning Manager who is responsible for the organisation of Work Experience; Careers and Extended Work Experience placements.
